How it all started

I got my start in plumbing back in London, working in the office of Pimlico Plumbing the largest plumbing company in London and one of the largest in the country. I got to see firsthand the lifestyle and opportunities the trade could offer. When I moved to Australia in 2009, I knew it was the right path for me and started my apprenticeship back in 2011.

After completing my apprenticeship, I then started broadening my skills across a range of different plumbing areas including aged care, maintenance and commercial plumbing. After over a decade learning and improving I decided it was time to go out on my own — and The Trusty Tradie was born.

Today I'm proud to offer trusted plumbing and gas fitting services across Newport, Williamstown, Spotswood, Yarraville, Footscray, Altona and surrounding suburbs, with over 15 years of hands-on experience behind me.

What you can expect when you book with The Trusty Tradie

I'm fully licensed (Lic #111515) with a Certificate IV in Plumbing, covering gas fitting, gas servicing, backflow prevention, hot water service repairs and replacements, drainage, roofing, stormwater and more — so whatever the job, you're in safe hands.

I don't charge a call-out fee, and I keep you in the loop the whole way — appointment reminders, a message when I’m on the way, and a clean, smart-tidy tradie on your doorstep every time. I treat every home with care like it’s my own, and clean up after every job, whether it's a bathroom or a building site so it's left ready for whatever comes next. Whether you'd prefer a fixed price quote or to pay for time and materials, I’ll work it out to suit your preference.

What I do best

From gas cooktops and oven repairs to bathroom renovations, waterproofing, leak detection and hot water system repair or replacements, I've got the experience to handle it properly the first time. One job that's stuck with me: a client got in touch mid-renovation after her builder left the job unfinished. There was waterproofing, tiling, stormwater, the rangehood, laundry and bathroom that all still needed work, and hot water wasn't connected. I stepped in, brought in trusted contractors where needed, and got everything finished so she could move back into her home after a distressing 14 months.

Local, and proud of it

My wife and I have called the inner west home since 2015, raising our two boys who love footy and have a real crack playing for Spotty. When I'm not on the tools, you'll find me cheering on the Lumberjacks or the mighty Geelong Cats.
